London Fashion Weekend A/W 2011

Zara, cardigan
Topshop, Top
Jeans, Free People
Shoes, JC Lita
Necklace, Low Luv
So I could share in the excitement of London fashion week I got myself a ticket to London Fashion Weekend, which is the event for us mere mortals.
It was a great experience, and seeing Mark Fasts collection was amazing, the shoes were crazy, I want some giant giant wedges.
Some of the designer shopping was lovely, trying on a Missoni dress and a Twenty Twelve leather jacket were definite highlights, but sadly I didn’t have a spare £450 to spend.
The only bad bit of the day was when I stacked it down the tube station stairs L  it was rather amusing though and luckily I was unharmed. That teaches me, running down wet stairs in 6 inch shoes.
Hope everyone had a happy Monday.

Stripper Boots :)

Kimono, Topshop
Dress, H and M
Boots, Very
Necklace, Market in Cyprus
Rings, Random

Grabbed my chance in-between the rain drops to take some outfit pictures. These are my stripper/tranny boots, I bought them after watching an episode of The Rachel Zoe project where she wore long black boots and made them look so effortless, and from that point on I was obsessed.
My parents have just come back from Cyprus and they bought me back some lovely crystal pendants and this giant tusk J I was a very happy girl, as these sorts of thing cost a fair amount in England.
This week I was accepted to be a Vice blogger, woo! I also reached 500 followers, thank you so much for reading my little blog, it means the world to me J
I also want to let you all know about a competition DKNY are launching a 'Classic Kiss' competition where you can win A DKNY bag for her and a DKNY watch for him!! All you need to do is go to this website and upload a picture of a ‘Classic Kiss', you can customise your picture and make it as creative as you like. Be sure to upload your pic J

Paisley

Dress, Primark
Boots, La Redoute
Neclaces, market and Dorothy perkins
Rings, markets and Asos
Hat, Nan's
This “dress” is one of my mum’s tops. It’s a bit short but I do wear it with a slip underneath.
I’m wearing these boots so much at the moment, they are comfy and being thigh high they almost count as trousers ... ok well maybe not but that what I keep telling myself. I just want it to be summer so there are no more tights, leggings or jeans.
I love this selection of jewellery, the tiny cross is from a market in Cyprus, as is the grey ring. The spike ring and the peace symbol are both from Asos and the snake is from a girly holiday in Majorca where everyone drank WAY to many glasses of “sex on the beach”.
I’ve been working like crazy this week, but it’s worth it as I need the £££££. Im so pleased its almost the weekend J

London fashion week, a fashion enthusiast dream, but sadly for me I have to watch the shows on a tiny screen sitting on my sofa at home.
Above are the highlights for me so far. I love the: maxi dresses, thigh high boots, hints of lilac, crazy patterns, feather details, cosy coats,  leather jackets, open knits, long hair and layers.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Coat, GoldDigga
Dress worn as Top, Asos
Shorts, Old
Shoes, JC Lita
Necklace, Dorothy Perkins and Snow Jewles

This isn’t really an outfit post, as I was still deciding whether to send this Dress/top back.  It looks ok in pictures but in real life it looks kinda cheap and nasty. In the end I think what it looks like in real life wins, but there’s a part of me that still likes it.
My boyfriend said I could probably make something similar using an old table cloth, and with that statement I put it back in its package and took it to the post box! So bye bye lace dress/top thing.
I’m on half term at the moment so no college for a week... woo ! I do have a lot of work to get done though; today I think I’m going to start documenting my trip to the British Museum (picture here).
Have a happy Monday

Vintage Boots And Memories

Dress, Primark
Boots, Vintage
Necklace, H and M
Bracelets, Markets and Topshop
Ring, YSL Arty, Asos and Markets

These pictures where taken a while back and I had completely forgotten about them, it was such a sunny day!
This black dress was a great Primark find; it’s a real throw on dress for when I can’t be bothered to think of an outfit. Some people find shopping in Primark awful but I don’t really mind it, I love looking for a bargain and rooting through all the racks. Yes, I agree there are some things in there which are truly hideous, but I think that can be said of all shops, you just have to keep your eyes open for something you might like.
I love these boots, I have pictures of me in them when I was three years old, I haven't changed. They where my mum’s from years (and years!) ago, and now she has passed them down to me.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.
